Kale is king

We have had an excellent season with our kale. We produce three varieties - green curly, red curly and cavalo nero. Did you know kale is one of the most nutritious leafy green vegetables you can get? It provides fibre, protein, carbohydrates, vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, iron, magnesium, vitamin A, antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, calcium, potassium, copper and manganese. Amazing!  

You can use kale in the same way you use spinach or silverbeet.  It is excellent when it is simply stir-fried with some olive oil and garlic. Delicious!
